When economic hardship threatens your ability to continue farming, ranching, or stewarding the land, you do not have to face it alone.

Our organization provides financial and material assistance to qualifying farmers, ranchers, and agricultural families who are committed to preserving the agrarian way of life, producing healthy food, and caring for the land. Whether you are facing unexpected financial strain, rising operational costs, natural disasters, or other significant challenges, we are here to help ease the burden.

Through our support, we seek to help keep farmers on their land, strengthen local food systems, and ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from resilient and sustainable agriculture.

Priority Consideration May Be Given To Applicants Who:

Operate a working farm, ranch, or agricultural enterprise.
Demonstrate a genuine financial hardship that threatens the continuation of their operation.
Practice, or are transitioning toward, regenerative or sustainable agricultural methods.
Show a commitment to responsible stewardship of land, livestock, and natural resources.
Intend to continue farming, ranching, or agricultural production if assistance is received.
Contribute to local food production, community well-being, or agricultural sustainability.
Demonstrate a willingness to implement practical solutions that improve long-term viability and resilience.

Examples of Qualifying Hardships May Include:

Significant increases in operating costs, outstanding farm debt or loan obligations.
Natural disasters, drought, wildfire, flooding, or severe weather events.
Loss of crops, livestock, equipment, or critical infrastructure.
Family medical emergencies affecting farm operations.
Other unforeseen circumstances that place the farm or ranch at risk.

Because available resources are limited, submission of an application does not guarantee assistance. Funding decisions are based on demonstrated need, available resources, potential impact, and alignment with the mission and values of the Out of the Wild 3D Fund.
